Motivation fades, but habits remain. Learn our proven framework for building daily routines that lead to long-term success.
We often rely on motivation to make changes, but motivation is a fleeting emotion. True, lasting change comes from building sustainable habits.
Start Small
Don't try to change your entire life overnight. Pick one small habit to focus on, like drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning or walking for 10 minutes after lunch. Once that becomes automatic, add another.
Habit Stacking
Attach a new habit to an existing one. If you already brush your teeth every morning, stack a new habit onto it: "After I brush my teeth, I will do 5 minutes of stretching."
Make it Easy
Remove friction. If you want to go to the gym in the morning, lay out your gym clothes the night before. If you want to eat healthier, prep your meals in advance so the healthy choice is the easiest choice.
Track Your Progress
Use a habit tracker to visually see your consistency. Don't break the chain. If you miss a day, your only goal is to not miss two days in a row.
